Ticket Policy
Graduates who attend the commencement ceremonies may request up to five guest tickets. Commencement is a very popular event, attracting between 10,000 and 11,000 guests each year. Seating is limited. To request guest tickets, please complete this Ticket Request form.

Tickets will be issued on a first-request basis; they typically "sell out" prior to the event. To ensure that you receive guest tickets, please complete your request as soon as possible. You will receive confirmation of your ticket request from Commencement Services. If you do not receive confirmation within 72 hours, please contact Commencement Services at (800) 711-9337. Beginning in late May, tickets will be mailed via Federal Express to the address you designate.

Commencement involves two separate ceremonies. The main ceremony features the student processional, remarks from the President, and keynote address. The school ceremony features the distribution of diplomas by individual school. In order to accommodate as many guests as possible, tickets for the main ceremony are limited to five per student. Students may request up to five tickets. All five tickets are valid for the school ceremony halls where each graduate will proceed across the stage and receive his/her diploma.
